In order to have a thoroughly study and implementation of the spirit of the 19^th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(hereinafter referred to as NCCPC), and learn from president Xi’s socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new era, from April 13th to 15th, under the leadership of Fang Meng, secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, the college studied and implemented the spirit of the 19^th NCCPC, "Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind" and the education and training activities for the Party Members took place in Dabieshan Executive Leadership Academy of the Xin county.

After all the careful preparation and organization of the Party Committee in the early stage, 40 teachers and students participated in this activity.This training class adopts a combination of classroom teaching, on-the-spot teaching, experience teaching and situational teaching, which is rich in content and varied in form.

Firsty, in the aspect of classroom teaching, they learnt about the history, characteristics and significance of the Dabieshan revolution, and deeply understood the spiritual connotation and value of that difficult war years, “stick to the belief, keep the overall situation in mind, stand as one, and be brave to be a pioneer”. Secondly, in the aspect of on-the-spot teaching, they listened to lectures respectively in the regional capital museum of E, Yu, Wan and Su districts, the generals exhibition museum of E, Yu and Wan districts, the former site of E, Yu, and Wan branch of Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the former site of the Red Fourth Army headquarters, the old revolutionary site of Jianchanghe township, and the hometown of general Xu Shiyou. Finally, in the teaching of experience, students wore red army uniforms, sang red songs chorus and go back to "Zhi Ren Path". And the teacher told the red stories about the brilliant deeds of how Xiao Guoqing, Zheng Weishan and Wang Jinshan followed the pace of the Party firmly.

In the Dabieshan, the students were not only shocked, the mind was also baptized, the spiritual realm was promoted, the revolutionary tradition was inherited, the ideal faith was determined, the consciousness of the party was strengthened, and the party spirit was tempered.

During the summary of the activities, Fang Meng said that learning and implementing the 19^th NCCPC is an important political task at present and in the future. All the members should focus on the content of study, "Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind", and effectively unite the thought and action to the spirits of 19^th NCCPC. Focusing on improving the political stance and strengthening the "Four Consciousness", focusing on learning to understand and strengthening the theoretical forces, focusing on strengthening self construction and refining the "five excellent qualities", and earnestly carrying the spirits of the 19th NCCPC through all aspects of teaching, scientific research, work and study, and constantly raising the ability and service level of the work. Through this study, the trainees all expressed that they should take this training as an opportunity to fully understand the profound  meaning and significance  of the 19^th NCCPC, enhance the consciousness and urgency of learning, and deeply study and understand the spiritual essence and rich connotation of the 19th NCCPC, and endeavor to be clear in politics and guiders in ideologies. Guided by the spirits of 19^th NCCPC, new contributions will be made to our work and study, and to the “double first-rate” construction of our university.
